About the Presenters
Sydney Rasmussen: Sydney Rasmussen is a Counseling Intern and Education Specialist at Tamarack Grief Resource Center. As a Counseling Intern, she supports individuals navigating the grieving process with compassion, empathy, and evidence-based support. In her role as the Education Specialist, Sydney is working on reviewing, editing and developing curriculum to document and support the programs that TGRC offers across Montana. With her 10 years of experience in outdoor education and leadership, Sydney brings with her a skillset of working with people through challenges, an appreciation for the power of being in nature, and the ability to create and execute plans, whether they are in the classroom or on the trail. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Montana, continuing to develop the skills to support the people in her community.
Lizzy Duffy Anderson: Lizzy Anderson is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor based in Helena, Montana. She first discovered yoga in college, but it wasn't until a car accident in 2017 that her practice became truly intentional. Yoga supported her physical recovery and also taught her to create space for her life outside of work. After completing her certification, she began teaching at her local studio in 2021 with a grounded, student-centered approach — offering modifications for every level and gentle reminders to stay present.
